Cowboy Poets, Musicians and Comedians to Perform at the Plains Hotel

July 10, 2006 -Cheyenne, WY... In the spirit of Cheyenne Frontier Days, the historic Plains Hotel will host a trio of celebrity cowboy performers, Jon Chandler, Kip Attaway and Rattlesnake Jake.

Singer, songwriter Jon Chandler is well-known for Americana music and as a best-selling author of western novels and poems.  Chandler strives to keep the frontier ethic alive and kicking. Appearing Monday, July 24 in the Plains Hotel ballroom from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  Free of charge.

Kip Attaway hails from Jackson, WY and is considered to be one of America's premier cowboy musical comedians.  Attaway touts that his shows contain "hazardous material".  Performing on Tuesday, July 25 in the Plains Hotel ballroom at 8:00 PM. Cost is $10 at the door.  No reservations required.

Local favorite, Rattlesnake Jake, will also be on hand playing guitar, accordion, gut-box and piano.  His shows are full of rope tricks and humorous versions of historic events in Cheyenne.   Appearing in the Plains Hotel lobby daily at 4:30 PM Friday, July 21 through Saturday, July 29. Free of charge.
