The historic Plains Hotel invites families to celebrate with them for a bountiful Thanksgiving Day Buffet at the Capitol Grille on Thursday, November 23. Guests will feast on creative selections of western American classics like Butternut Squash Soup with Crème Fraiche and Chives; Roast Turkey Breast with Sausage, Apricot and Pecan Cornbread Stuffing; Rosemary and Sage Rubbed Pork Loin with Kirsch and Sour Apple Compote; and Grilled Bistro Tenderloins with a Bourguignon Demi. There is also a Kiddy Corner with a children menu of Mac and Cheese; Crispy Fried Chicken Strips; Mini Corn Dogs; Jello; and Tater Tots.

Cheyenne Christmas Parade Day
The Plains Hotel is the premier viewing place for the Cheyenne Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 25 which kicks off at 5:00 pm. Warm up with a complimentary bowl of Plains chili and a cup of hot chocolate or apple cider served from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the hotel lobby.

Holiday Craft Show
Start holiday gift shopping at the Craft Show in the Plains Ballroom on Friday, November 25 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and also on Saturday, November 25 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Parade and Craft Show Packages
For out-of-towners, select from two festive packages. The Grand Parade Package offers a three night stay, November 23 through 26, with accommodations in a beautifully appointed Parlour room; buffet breakfast for two each morning in The Capitol Grille; tickets to the Christmas Concert at the Civic Center on Friday at 7 pm; admission to the Craft Show at The Plains Hotel; topped off by the Cheyenne Christmas Parade on Saturday evening. Cost is $299 for the package.

The Standard Parade Package offers a one night stay, either Friday, November 24 or Saturday, November 25, with accommodations in a beautifully appointed Parlour room; buffet breakfast for two at The Capitol Grille; tickets to the Christmas Concert at the Civic Center on Friday at 7 pm; admission to the Craft Show at The Plains Hotel; topped off by the Cheyenne Christmas Parade on Saturday evening. Cost is $99 for the package.
